    • 1 sprig of curry leaves (for masala)
    • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (for masala)
    • 1 finger of ginger finely chopped (for masala)
    • 1 onion (for chutney)
    • 2 tbsp coconut oil (for chutney)
    • 1/4 teaspoon kachi puli (for chutney). anymore and it will kill the taste
    • 1 finger ginger chopped (for chutney)
    • 2-3 cloves garlic (for chutney)
    • salt as per taste as batter is mildly salted
    • Whole Red chillies (5-6)
    • coconut milk 4 tbsp (optional)
    • 1 packet Farm2Familiezfarmz2familiez Adai packet
  • How to cook?
    1. In 2 lts pressure cooker add 3 tbsps water to prevent burning and 1 tbsp oil (for masala)
    2. if you wish layer with onions. I do not like onions in my masala (For masala)
    3. Add the chopped potato as the next layer (or first depending on your choice) (For masala)
    4. Add the curry leaves, green chillies, turmeric, salt. DO NOT MIX (For masala)
    5. Cook it for 2 whistles or 4 mins (For masala)
    6. Release pressure immediately and mix (For masala) Add warm water or whey if you want to eat it as a side dish along with the adai but where is the fun in that? I made it into a think masala as a filling
    7. Mix all the ingredients listed above for chutney with salt to taste
    8. Spread the adai batter as small circles and let it go a bit firm
    9. Spread the chutney evenly on the adai and place a quantity of masala in the center. I used an ice-cream scoop for the shape 🙂
    10. Cover and let it go crisp (not too long) and enjoy

The chutney can be made when the potato masala is getting made.
